Monetary Theory and Global Markets

Understanding money is at the base of every society's functional structure. Every civilization in history found a way to resort to money to standardize their interactions. From seashells to cocoa seeds, we will expand on all things money in this course, starting with fundamental theory and working our way up to interest rates, exchange rates, and transactions between countries. Students will learn the basics of monetary theory and how changes in the monetary market affect the whole country's economy.
