REQUIREMENTS

Students are required to bring their own camera. VERITAS will NOT provide or rent out cameras for the class.

 

Camera requirements and specifications:

Manual setting, (ISO, SHUTTER, SPEED, APERTURE)

Program Objectives:

The purpose of this program is for students to:

• Have a clear knowledge of the basic principles of photography to consciously handle a digital photographic camera.

• Have a clear knowledge of the basic principles of photographic composition.

• Have a basic notion of Ecological systems throughout Costa Rica and important issues in relation to photographic exploration.

• Create a final photo essay that shows the exploration on the ecological systems of Costa Rica
