This course is oriented to the analysis of important topics related to the concept of aesthetics and the ways in which it has been manifested and assumed in different cultures, although emphasizing the evolution of the so-called Western culture: from Greece and Rome to modernity and contemporaneity To this end, this concept of aesthetics will be related to different philosophical currents and modes of representation, as well as the reflections that have been made from different thinkers and artists, emphasizing the links of historical analysis with the connotations and current readings of those concepts and their Creative referents in especially visual fields.
